Before You Leave

If you have access to Google Maps, please input our postcode BD23 5JS. This brings you directly to our location, however please note there is no mobile phone signal after Kettlewell in the South and Hawes in the North. We find that Satnav is sometimes unreliable in this area.

On arriving at Nethergill Farm, please drive up the farm drive (approx. ¾ mile). Drive past the farmhouse driveway on the right and after 20 metres take the next right hand turn into a gravelled area. Please park on the grassy area on the left.

Hay Mew is the first property on the right, Byre is the second property on the right.

Standard check-in is from 5:00pm. Occasionally it is possible for us to accommodate early check-in. If you would like to request alternative times, please contact us by email.

There are key safes installed by your property. Please input the 4-digit code (you will receive this via email the day before arrival) and pull-down release lever to left of numbers to obtain your keys. Please close the weather guard once you have your keys.

Always be prepared for any weather. We recommend bringing walking books / wellies / sturdy shoes as the ground can be wet and uneven, even throughout summer..

Waterproof jacket and ideally waterproof trousers. Plenty of warm clothing layers. If you need last minute items, there are a number of outdoor clothing and equipment shops in Hawes. In the summer, the sun can be expectedly strong, so we always advise bringing suncream in case you are lucky with the weather

Binoculars if you have them - our 2 bird hides are available for your use.

Torch and Maps: if you would like to purchase maps of the area - Ordnance Survey Explorer Map OL2 and OL30

We are 8 miles from the nearest shops, Spar and Elijah Allen, in Hawes. Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsbury’s do deliver here and we are happy to take in a food delivery for you if you wish; please just let us know the delivery slot so we can help direct driver as needed.

We recommend you arrive here with provisions for at least the first evening and breakfast and then shop locally in Hawes as it is a really enjoyable experience!
