Step off the world and settle into the peace of our beautifully converted 1871 haylofts. These self‑catering spaces blend all the comforts of home with the deep quiet of Nethergill — warm, simple and made for slowing down.

To make your stay even easier, we now offer a luxury larder: a curated selection of local treats and some holiday treat essentials. It saves you the long drive to the shops and gives you more time to enjoy the seclusion, the stillness and the rare quiet of thefarm.

Our stays are usually Friday–Monday, Monday–Friday, or a full week starting on either day. If your plans don’t fit neatly into those windows, just let us know. We’re always happy to see what we can do.

Byre - Sleeps 4

Part of an original stone barn built in 1871 with cowshed (or shippon) below, Nethergill Byre has been sympathetically converted into a comfortable, quirky hayloft on 3 levels. Many of the original beams are still in situ and the windows look out over woodland, fell, cobbled yard, and farmyard.

Part of an original stone barn built in 1871, Nethergill Hay Mew has been sympathetically converted to a very high standard into a comfortable and spacious hayloft over 3 levels, retaining many of the original features. All the windows have extensive views over moorland, woodland and traditional hay meadows.
